Mice and Rats are a Large Populous

Mice and rats belong to the rodent family and are one of the fasting breeding rodents known to man. Pity the poor home that is invaded by a male and a female. If they are not caught and destroyed quickly a house could be overrun with them within a short period of time. Offspring start breeding at only six weeks of age with litters of up to six pups so you do the math.

Snap traps can be quite effective if you buy them in sizes sufficient to rid you of the larger rodents. It may seem inhumane but the rodents are killed quite quickly never knowing what hit them. Seeking out ways of how to get rid of mice naturally is no easy task. The items are there, but how well they work is the question and a lot of them leave a lot to be desired.

Glue boards are seen just about everywhere along with other styles of rodent removal. Their effectiveness is questionable at best and only seems to work with rodents that are very small. The glue is just not strong enough to hold a full grown rat. You can try a zapper trap, but again they are not very good with a large rodent. He may get a little jolt but it won’t cause much of a problem.

Buying the new ultrasonic plug ins as a rat repellent is a terrible waste of money. The sounds they emit may bother the rodents a little bit but they soon will be accustomed to it and ignore the entire thing. Even poisons are becoming a pathetic way in how to get rid of mice naturally. A number of poisons have already made the immunity list of these vermin. Warfarin is one prime example. If you do find one that works there is no smell more horrid than a rotting rodent in the walls of your home.
